Figures
Licensing the figures
All 11 diagrams are already free to use commercially. This page is only about the one condition attached to that, and how to remove it.
What is free, and stays free
Every figure on this site may be used by anyone, anywhere, including in commercial products, provided a visible link points back to the page it came from. No account, no email, no permission needed — the embed code is under each figure on the figures page.
That is not a trial tier and it will not be narrowed later. The figures exist to be used; the link back is what pays for them. Most people should stop reading here.
What a paid licence adds
One thing, plus the paperwork that comes with it: you no longer have to show the credit line. That is what a clinic printing a consultation pack, an app shipping a diagram inside a screen, or a publisher setting a textbook page actually needs, and it is the only part that cannot be had for free.
- No attribution required — in print, in software, in a slide deck, on packaging.
- A countersigned PDF licence naming your organisation, for the file your legal team keeps.
- Any raster size you need, exported from the same vector source.
- Perpetual. Bought once, for the life of whatever you put it in. There is no renewal and no per-print fee.
Price
| Licence | What it covers | Price |
|---|---|---|
| One figure | A single diagram, in one product or publication. | $95 |
| The whole set | Every figure on the site, including any added later, across everything you publish. | $390 |
| Print and high resolution | Included with either. The figures are vector, so they are already resolution-independent; a PNG at any size you name comes with the licence. | included |
One-time, per organisation, not per seat or per print run. If you are a student, a teacher, a non-profit clinic or a patient support group, use them free without the credit line and do not email us about it — write and say so if you would rather be sure, and the answer is yes.
What is not for sale
A licence covers the drawing. It does not cover endorsement: you may not state or imply that this site recommends, reviews or is affiliated with your product, and you may not attach a claim to a figure that the figure's own cited sources do not support. Those two conditions survive the licence and are the reason there is a licence rather than a handshake.
We also do not license these for resale as stock artwork, which would be selling someone the right to sell the thing we give away.
How to buy one
Email hello@regrowprotocol.com with three things: which figure or figures, the organisation's legal name, and where it will appear. You get back the licence PDF and an invoice. There is no call, no demo and no sales process — this is a form of words and a payment, and both fit in one email.
If you have already used a figure with the credit line and now need it without, that is the same email and there is nothing to undo. Nobody is in trouble.
What you are licensing
Diagrams drawn from the cited medical literature rather than traced from stock illustration — the Norwood and Ludwig scales, the growth cycle, follicle miniaturisation, the DHT pathway, scarring versus non-scarring loss, and the rest. Each carries the sources it was drawn from beneath it on the figures page, which is where to look before deciding whether it says what you need it to say.
